Could you send the configuration for the distro & profile you did
create ? I believe command is `cobbler distro report --name=...`
Also, although I'm quite sure that it will not work with version 1.3.4, maybe
the AlternateDebianDeployment page on wiki could give you some hints.

Maybe the preseed was not copied to the proper location. Without
the "report" output, I can only suggest to test without explicit kickstart,
leaving cobbler to setup the default.seed

I don't remember right now how to do it, but using a custom mirror was
a little bit tricky. Maybe the sample kickstarts could also give you a
hint.
