Provided Fedora gets accepted as a Google Summer of Code 2009 as an organization, and gets a sufficient number of slots, I'm looking to mentor someone to work on the Cobbler project.
It's strictly a "bring your own ideas and whatever interests you thing", so the best ideas/proposal would get my endorsement. A history of usage or contribution also helps, but is not required. Don't just copy a laundry list of RFEs, (though intent on implementing some is nice), show me you can think too. Anyhow, if you are a student and were thinking about applying for Google Summer of Code, just wanted to throw that out there as something to watch for. If someone wants to bounce ideas/questions off of me, that's great too. I imagine some of them may get implemented ahead of GSOC time if you announce them too loudly or they are too good though :) --Michael _______________________________________________ cobbler mailing list [email protected] https://fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler
