If NetworkManager is installed and used, it overrides the resolv.conf generated by post_install_network_config. In order for NetworkManager to generate a complete resolv.conf, post_install_network_config must put an line "DOMAIN = " search suffixes" in ifcfg-ethx. It does not do this currently.
