We have a Ferruginous Hawk that just came into the cottonwood tree out my east living room window. (My daughter saw him fly in.) He looks to be getting settled in for the night...I've had this bird here before. If you want to see him (assuming he stays put, of course!) he can be found at approximately 121st and Perry Street. He is just a bit (1/2 block) north of this intersection in the cottonwood in next to a mint green (not mine!) manufactured home here in Cimarron Village. If you turn north on Perry off of 121st you can see him from your car before you get to the park entrance. Please don't go into the yard...my neighbor won't know why you're there! The park address is 12205 Perry Street...but if you map it online look south of where the map says we are...any online mapping I've seen puts us at 124th and Perry...a few blocks north.
