Hey all, Cole Wild found a male Eurasian Wigeon this morning at Swede Lake in Larimer County. I headed over there and we got excellent looks at it as it pursued a female American Wigeon and occasionally gave it's different call - an explosive, upslurred whistle, higher pitched than that of American and only one note. To look for the bird, park just off the main road in the dirt pull in by the gate, just south of Swede Lake. Do NOT trespass onto the open space property, as walk in access is not allowed.
