Cobirders :
 
    Very quiet at the banding station today , no banders  present , just a 
single Hermit Thrush , Ruby-crowned Kinglet ,  and Yellow-rumped Warbler.
 
 At Rose Pond however there was an immature Harris's Sparrow  associating 
with White-crown's in the very short willows along the east  -west earth 
bank. Also Northern Mockingbird ( FOS).
 
 At HQ Pond , a Greater White-fronted Goose was the star with  most of the 
ducks well represented including Redhead , Canvasback and Greater  Scaup , 
both teals etc. White-faced Ibis , Eared Grebe . Willet ( 2 ) , Spotted  
Sandpiper and American Avocet were the only waders .
 
HQ had more Ruby-crowned Kinglets ( 2 ) , Hermit Thrush ( 2 ) , and  
Yellow-Rumped Warblers.
 
 In the El Paso county part of Chico , we had Burrowing owls ,  Cassin's 
Sparrow ( FOS ) , male doing its display flight ,and Western Kingbird (  FOS ).
 
   At Big Johnson Res , Franklin's and Bonaparte's gulls were  around , and 
below the dam wall in a recently flooded field a late Snow Goose  and Snowy 
Egrets .
