Hi Cobirders,

I checked the San Luis Lakes in Alamosa County yesterday afternoon, which we
will visit as part of the CFO Convention, and there were several interesting
birds including:

Semipalmated Plovers - 4
American Avocets - 12
Marbled Godwits - 20
Long-billed Dowitchers - 25
Least Sandpiper - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Sanderlings - 2 (justing beginning to molt into alternate plumage)
Willets - 35
Ring-billed, Bonaparte's, Franklin's, and California Gulls
Forster's Terns - 3

I asked them to stay, but I'm not sure that they were listening.
