. Pair of blue-gray gnatcatchers building nest in scrub-oak fork; 5 ft off ground . Two female broad-tailed hummingbirds collecting nest material; one from mullein stalk and another collecting cattail down. . Mourning dove still on ground nest. . Black-billed magpie nest with young; in small spruce next to pond. While the park didn't get the numbers and variety seen at other places in the last week in El Paso Cty, it sure got more than usual, with a rare northern waterthrush sighting.
