While doing a Big Day today Bill Kaempfer, John Vanderpoel, Gary
Matthews and Todd Deininger spotted a Neotropic Cormorant on a sand
spit on the east side of Lower Latham Reservoir. There is a oil &
gas road (no trespassing) off Weld Co 47 Rd that leads to the spit.
The bird is visible from 47 Rd. It was in the company of a Double-
crested Cormorant so they were able to compare size in addition to
other field marks.
Bill called this in at 1:30 p.m.

Maggie Boswell reporting for Bill K and co.
