Birding yesterday at Manitou Lake and today at FR 339 (Teller County) produced the following:
Manitou Lake (46 species) - highlights . Imm Black-crowned Heron . Canada Geese with goslings . Virginia Rails . Soras . Wilson's Snipe . Red-naped Sapsucker . 5 species of swallow (tree, cliff, barn, violet-green, northern rough-winged) FR 339 (45 species) - highlights . Veery . Olive-sided Flycatcher . Dusky Flycatcher . Gray Catbirds . MacGillivray's Warbler Both western wood-peewee and cordilleran flycatcher are overdue in Teller Co.
