Vic Zerbi just called (September 2, 2009, 7:40 am) with a report that
he, Coen Dexter and Jason Beason are currently looking at the
Long-tailed Jaeger in the gravel ponds at Whitewater, Mesa County,
CO. I have no further details.

(directions from yesterday's post: adult, basic plumage Long-tailed
Jaeger on the gravel ponds on CO 141, about a mile (3/4 mile?) from
the junction with US 50. There are two gravel ponds in the area on
either side of the road.)
