We were pleasantly surprised when a day we expected to be windy and slow
turned out to be a calm, cool, crisp fall day with a nice variety of
species. Banded 22 birds:

Downy Woodpecker 2

White-breasted Nuthatch 1

Golden-crowned Kinglet 1

Ruby-crowned Kinglet 3

Hermit Thrush 1

Orange-crowned Warbler 3

Audubon's Warbler 1

Song Sparrow 1

Lincoln's Sparrow 3

Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow 2

Slate-colored Junco 1

Pink-sided Junco 3

Open every day through October 17 except (usually) Wednesdays. Enjoy fall
with us!
