This afternoon (10/11) I made a quick stop at Timnath Reservoir (Larimer
County). I found 17 species of shorebirds. Here are some of the highlights:
~400 Long-billed Dowitchers
4 Short-billed Dowitchers (I didn't look carefully through most of the
dowitchers, so there could have been more)
8 Sanderling
6 AMERICAN GOLDEN-PLOVERS
14 Black-bellied Plovers
1 DUNLIN
3 Pectoral Sandpipers
2 Sage Thrashers
Cole Wild
Loveland
