Adams County:
--2 Swamp Sparrows were reported by Andrews at Rocky Mountain Arsenal on 
November 4.
--A Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Larson in Commerce City near the 
recycling center off of I-270 on November 5.
 
Arapahoe County:
--A Red-necked Grebe was reported by Larson at Cherry Creek Reservoir near the 
swim beach on November 6.
 
Boulder County:
--2 female Surf Scoters were reported by Nunes at Baseline Reservoir on 
November 1.  On November 8, Waltman reported that a male Surf Scoter had joined 
the 2 female scoters at Baseline Reservoir. 
 
Denver County:
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Tina Jones at Marston on November 4.
--A possible ARCTIC LOON was noticed by Kibbe at Marston Reservoir on October 
31 and seen again by Tina Jones on November 4.  De Fonso reported the ARCTIC 
LOON on November 8.
--2 Swans possibly Tundra were reported by Kilpatrick on November 5 at Marston.
 
Douglas/Jefferson Counties:
--A jaeger possibly PARASITIC was reported by Kellner at Chatfield State Park 
on November 5.  The jaeger was seen again on November 8 by DeFonso. 
--Kellner also reported a Lesser Black-backed Gull at Chatfield on November 6.
--2 Surf Scoters were reported by Kellner at Chatfield on November 7.
 
El Paso County:
--At Big Johnson on November 5, Peterson reported an ad MEW GULL and a possible 
GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL.
--A BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE was reported by Kosar at the lake next to the 
Doubletree Hotel in south Colorado Springs on November 8.
 
Fremont County:
--A Rufous-crowned Sparrow was reported by Moss at Tunnel Drive in Canon City 
on November 5.
 
Jefferson County:
--A juv YELLOW-BILLED LOON was reported by Komar and Wild at Standley Lake on 
November 7.
 
Lake County:
--2 Long-tailed Ducks (1m, 1f) were reported by Kalbach and Kellner on November 
8.
--1 imm Surf Scoter was reported by Kalbach and Kellner at Mount Elbert Forebay 
on November 8.
--5 Barrow's Goldeneyes (3m, 2f) were reported by Kellner at Mount Elbert 
Forebay on November 8.
 
Larimer County:
At Timnath Reservoir:
--2 ad Lesser Black-backed Gulls were reported by DeFonso on November 3.
 
Park County:
--2 Surf Scoters (Howbert Point) and 1 Black Scoter (ad male, west of Rocking 
Chair) were reported by Peterson on November 6 at Eleven Mile Reservoir.  3 
Surf Scoters were reported by Kellner at Eleven Mile on November 8.
--A Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Peterson at Antero Reservoir on 
November 6.
 
Routt County:
--Litteral found and Luke identified a pale juv Thayer's Gull at Stagecoach 
Reservoir on November 5.
 
Summit County:
--A Pacific Loon was reported by Kaempfer at Lake Dillon on November 8.
--2 Barrow's Goldeneyes (1m, 1f) and 1 m Long-tailed Duck were reported by 
Kellner on November 8 at Lake Dillon.
 
The DFO field trip for Saturday, November 14 will be to Belmar Historic Park 
led by Karleen Schofield (303-936-8661).  Meet the leader at 0900 at  800 S. 
Wadsworth Blvd at W. Ohio Ave.  Turn west on Ohio Ave and go 2 blocks straight 
ahead into Irongate Parking lot to lake.  This will be a half day trip.
 
The DFO field trip for Sunday, November 15 will be to Roxborough State Park led 
by Doris Cruze (303-773-3540).  Meet the leader at the Visitor Center at 0800.  
Trip will finish by noon.  State parks pass required.  Take S. Wadsworth Blvd 
past Chatfield SP to Waterton Rd on the left.  Take Waterton Rd 1.6 miles east 
to North Rampart Range Rd.  Turn right and go south 2.3 miles to Roxborough 
Park Rd.  Turn leff and follow signs to Park (2.2) miles.
