When I was at Timnath Reservoir and Fossil Creek Reservoir the snow was making for poor viewing conditions and I could not identify most of the birds on the water. The highlights include: North Poudre Reservoir #3 WHITE-WINGED SCOTER - 3 Bee Reservoir - a few miles south of North Poudre Reservoir #3 Snow Goose - 39 Ross's Goose - 2 Merlin - 2 Red-breasted Merganser - 1 Brush Hollow Reservoir (Weld) Gulls - 4000, 3000 being Ring-billed Thayer's - 1 1st winter Lesser Black-backed Gull - 1 2nd winter American White Pelican - 1 Timnath Reservoir Thayer's Gull - 1 1st winter Fossil Creek Reservoir BLACK SCOTER - 1 imm. A poor pic of one of the White-winged Scoters, a few of the Chatfield Parasitic Jaeger, and other interesting birds I have photograhped this fall can be seen at: http://www.pbase.com/birdingwild1/new_photos.
