Hey, Cobirders. Jeanne and I went back to Big Johnson today to try a little birding without the wind. It was cool but we had a great time.
We refound the White-winged Scoter. We also saw a Common Loon, Bald Eagle, Common Goldeneyes, and many grebes. The usual suspects were also in big numbers: Buffleheads, mergansers, shovelers, coots, Canada Geese, Ring-billed and California Gulls and a Herring Gull, Mallards, pintails, gadwalls. All in all a great day to be out.
