I had a first-winter (or tan-striped morph?) white-throated sparrow today in my back yard, feeding alongside a couple of white-crowns & lots of juncos, house finches & spotted towhees... dodging the scrub & blue jays. Also a lone female Cassin's finch, which hadn't been represented here since winter before last.
