On the east side of the lake we saw a pelican that appeared to have no primary
feathers on it's right wing. It was walking on the ice, flew a short distance,
and was swimming. Can it survive on it's own if it is truly not able to fly
well?

Also seen, 3 adult bald eagles, 2 on the same branch "talking" to each other,
the other flying over head in the treed area near the campground.

Did not see any swans at 3:30 pm
