Just wanted to let fellow cobirders know that the El Paso County Snowy Owl is still in the area he has been reported in between 7:15 and 8:30 this morning Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Several others and I were viewing him along Prairie Vista View Lane, as noted last in the Jan. 18 Rare Bird Alert.
What a magnificent creature!! It will be interesting to see if he persists and stays in the area as our weather changes this week. Ed Furlong Evergreen, CO
