Hi Everyone-- In the hope that someone in Nebraska is lurking on this list, I thought I would mention that I saw a dull male White-winged Crossbill behind the visitor center at Fort Niobrara NWR, 5 miles east of Valentine, on Sunday 4/11. It was in a young Ponderosa Pine and on the surrounding lawn. Go figure. I got nice looks but no photos.
