Twenty one birders in five teams searched Fountain Creek Regional Park in El
Paso County this morning and found 88 species. Highlights for the day include:
White-faced Ibis - 70 fly over
Merlin
Wilson's Phalrope
Gray Flycatcher
Black Phoebe
Western Kingbird
Eastern Kingbird
Plumbeous Vireo
Rock Wren
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Gray Catbird
Brown Thrasher
Orange-crowned Warbler
Virginia's Warbler
Northern Parula
Yellow Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Wilson's Warbler
Westen Tanager
Green-tailed Towhee
Lark Sparrow
Lincoln's Sparrow
Black-headed Grosbeak
Lazuli Bunting
Great-tailed Grackle
Bullock's Oriole
Lesser Goldfinch

At my home feeders this afternoon I had Rose-breasted, Black-headed and Evening
