Hi Birders,

Yesterday (Thurs) was windy; we banded 11 Wilson’s, 1 Yellow, and 4 House Wrens
and went home early. Today (Fri) was pleasant and busy, banding 48 birds and
enjoying a group of students from CU.

Here’s today’s breakdown:

Downy Woodpecker 1
Western Wood-pewee 6
Gray Flycatcher 1
Cassin’s Vireo 1
Warbling Vireo 2
House Wren 7
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
MacGillivray’s Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 3
Wilson’s Warbler 25

Several of you have e-mailed me directly this week; I appreciate hearing from
you, and I will respond before the weekend is over.

I’ll be out banding all three days this Labor Day Weekend, so come visit!
Closed Wed (9/8).
