This morning there was a first-fall male Magnolia Warbler on the east side of
Sanitas Green Belt.

I did not find it again when I came back past this area. To look for it, go
west on Maxwell into the hospital grounds, follow the driveway on the west side
of the power plant (chimney) up to the parking lot (OK to park here on
weekends), go out the north end of the parking lot, turn left on the trail.
The bird was in the shrubs along the irrigation ditch before the trail crosses
the wooden bridge. The fenced area is closed Open Space; south of the bridge
is open Open Space.

Other birds in this vicinity in included House Wren, female Western Tanager,
Green-tailed Towhee, BC Chickadee.
