Below is my eBird report for the bird walk we had with members of Aiken
Audubon this morning. In all there were eight of us. The main target bird
was the LEWIS'S WOODPECKER, and we didn't even have to leave the parking lot
to begin seeing them. Over the course of the morning we saw a plentitude of
these gorgeous woodpeckers. Another highlight was a Sage Thrasher and a
MacGillivray's Warbler.
Taking part were Jeannie Mitchell, Nina Ogilvie, Cyncy Kulp, Patty Lovekin,
Nancy Smith, Rosemary Scheurnig, Jeanne Goff and Mel Goff.
We had a great time and recommend this site to all.
