Hi Cobirders

Wilson's Warblers (67 banded) filled the nets today with a good variety of
other birds, 125 individuals of 23 species. So far this fall we have rarely
recaptured a bird on a following day, today we caught a few that were still
hanging around here. Cordilleran Flycatcher banded 9/13 weighed 11.5 grams,
today he weighed 12.6g = 10% bodyweight gained was the champion weight gainer.
Last fall 15 Sep markded the peak of Wilson's Warbler migration, we may have
duplicated that again this year.

John Drummond found a Magnolia Warbler at Rose Pond.

Birds Banded:
Red-shafted Flicker 1
Western Wood-Pewee 1
Willow Flycatcher 1
Hammond's Flycatcher 4
Cordilleran Flycatcher recap
Red-breasted Nuthatch 2
House Wren 4
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1 FOS
Swainson's Thrush 1
Hermit Thrush 6
American Robin 3
Gray Catbird 4
Orange-crowned Warbler 3
Townsend'd Warbler 4
MacGillivray's Warbler 5
Wilson's Warbler 67
Yellow-breasted Chat 1
Western Tanager 2
Green-tailed Towhee 1
Chipping Sparrow 3
Brewer's Sparrow 1
Lincoln's Sparrow 2
Lazuli Bunting 1

While we didn't band the Magnolia Warbler a certain Cobirds Prognosticator (who
shall remain nameless) predicted it. The person also predicted the first
arrival of Hermit Thrush correctly. Amazingly on that day HETH was the very
first bird I got out of a net!

Good birding
