Hi Birders,

Today we wrapped up banding at the Ridgway station with low diversity,
but a decent number of birds (40). The unofficial total count is 328
birds banded of 40 different species, over nine days. Yellow-rumped
Warblers by far outnumbered any other species this season, and today
was no exception.

Mountain Chickadee 5
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Orange-crowned Warbler 5
Audubon's Yellow-rumped Warbler 27
Wilson's Warbler 2

My apologies to the Lincoln's Sparrows of 9/16, which were
inadvertently left off of yesterday's report (there were three, plus
one recapture from this season).

Thank you to all of the volunteers, park employees, and visitors who
helped keep everything running smoothly and made the past two weeks so
enjoyable. I hope to see you again at the GVAS station!

-Stephanie
