Yesterday, Glenn Walbek, Dick Schottler and I birded various locations.
Fairly slow (maybe today's cool front will change that), but we did have two
birds of interest.

Lots of Wilson's and Orange-crowned Warblers and very few Yellow-rumped
Warblers...but that will change very soon!

BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER - 1 fall adult at the inlet grove at Prewitt Reservoir
BELL'S VIREO - 1 at the pond at the Last Chance rest stop

Jumbo Reservoir continues to have excellent shoreline, but few shorebirds.
Yesterday the shore held:
Marbled Godwit - 3
American Avocet - 4
Sanderling - 18
Stilt Sandpiper - 18
Greater Yellowlegs - 1
Baird's Sandpiper -
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 1
Least Sandpiper - 2
Wilson's Phalarope - 56
Killdeer - 26
Black Tern - 30
Forster's Tern - 10

One last interesting find was a Belted Kingfisher flying around at the Crow
Valley Campground...with no water in sight, WHAT is it eating?!
