This morning about 7:40 Bob Andrews, Michael Kiessig and myself
observed the Golden-crowned Sparrow under the apple tree on the west
side of the Trading Post. We also had a White-winged Junco on the
ground underneath the east feeder. The Curve-billed Thrasher was a no
show for us. While we were there a handsome Sharp-shinned Hawk put a
scare into the birds on the west side before being pestered and chased
away by the Scrub Jays.
