At the Belmar Park Winter Ducks trip, we lucked out with a beautiful day and some interesting ducks etc:
Hooded Mergansers Three Ruddy Ducks Ring-necked ducks Lesser Scaups Northern Shovelers Gadwalls Mallards Buffleheads Merlin Kestral Ring-billed Gulls Belted Kingfisher Canada Geese Cackling Geese Some of the smaller ponds were starting to freeze over, and as a result, we did not see Wood ducks which had been there earlier in the week.
