Cheri Orwig and I ventured out to Morgan and Weld Counties today, 12/1.
Highlights include:

Jackson Lake State Park - Morgan County
   Eastern Screech-Owl - 1
   Long-eared Owl - 8
   Yellow-rumped Warbler - 1 Myrtle
GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL - 1 1st cycle bird. We watched fly half way around the
lake starting close to us at the dam on the south side and we lost it somewhere
around the state wildlife area on the north side. It appeared to be a good
bird,
but can't say for sure that it didn't have at least a little bit of Herring
Gull
genes in it from the looks we had, wish I could have seen it on the ground.
   Snow Goose - 6
   Mountain Chickadee - 2

Crow Valley Campground - Weld County
   Mountain Chickadee - 1
   Brown Creeper - 1

Pawnee Center (don't remember what it is called, but just north of Crow Valley)
- Weld County
   Hermit Thrush - 1
   Snow Bunting - 1 flyover

Driving roads north of Jackson Lake and north of Crow Valley we were looking
for
Gyrfalcons, found lots of raptors (no Gryfalcons).

Windsor Reservoir - Weld County (Unsuccessfully chased a Yellow-billed Loon)
ICELAND GULL - 1 1st winter, Kumlien's (new early record for CO?)
   Thayers Gull - 4, 1 adult 3 1st cycle
   Lesser Black-backed Gull - 7 adults
   Greater White-fronted Goose - 3
   Snow Goose - 20
   Ross's Goose - 5
