For readers of the Rare Bird alert, one way to tell what birds should have a 
form filled out
and sent to the records committee is if the name is capitalized in the report.  
 You may
have wondered how I decide which bird name to capitalize.  There is a state 
bird review list
available at the cfo website and the birds which the records committee would 
like documentation
about have their names capitalized and I use that system on the RBA.  
 
Recently a question about GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW at Red Rocks appeared on 
CoBirds,
a check of records submitted did not indicate any recent reports for the bird 
at Red Rocks.
