This morning I found a juvenile Red-headed Woodpecker in Wetmore, Custer Co. It was in a large, dead cottonwood along Hardscrabble Cr. across from the Wetmore Community Center. The brown head showed some traces of red. I got a few pictures before it flew. North of Wetmore there were four Eastern Bluebirds along CR 298. Rich Miller Canon City
