Hearing the singing Junco yesterday morning prompted me to get outside for a
listen on my back deck at sunrise to see who else is getting busy.

Multiple singing Juncos this morning. Did not identify subspecies. All out
of sight. And as I was in my robe, with coffee and slippers; I wasn't going
to trek through the woods.

Singing White-breasted Nuthatch - across street.

Singing Eurasian Collared-Dove; of course, these guys can go at it
year-round, so nothing special here.

American Crows cawing as they depart their nightly roosts in route to
wherever. Not a song, but nonetheless welcome sounds.

Drumming from either the downy or hairy woodpecker males that inhabit the
area.
