Hi COBirders, We went for a walk in the Garden of the Gods Park this afternoon, mostly to see if any swifts had arrived yet. No swifts, but getting out of the car at the big parking lot we immediately heard a Prairie Falcon screaming as it soared high against the cliff face. As we watched he flew up to a large white-washed cavity, where a second falcon was perched, followed by immediate copulation. Then he flew off with more screaming. Quite a sight and a beautiful day here.
Other than that - real quiet : a few Scrub Jays, and pigeons, but no robins nor solitaires even though there are plenty of juniper berries around. Hmmm.
