Greetings from the W Slope. It was great to host so many talented birders for the convention. Coen Dexter asked that we let the conventioneers know that eight species of owls were viewed by participants...all the owls that are regular breeders in this part of w. Co.. Thanks to all the great eyes and ears the convention bird list is approaching two hundred species.
Dick Filby suggested that I post that I lost my camera and paraphernalia at the Doubletree Hotel in GJ when I left it in the lobby Friday morning when we loaded up to take off for the day. No one turned it in to the hotel so this is a plea to anyone who might have noticed it or better yet, picked it up for safe-keeping. Any information would be very deeply appreciated.
