Bent County:
--Sanders reported Piping Plover, Snowy Plover, and Least Tern at
Dinosaur Point of John Martin Reservoir on July 1.

Crowley County:
--A NEOTROPIC CORMORANT was reported by Kaempfer and Vanderpoel on a
pond at High Plains Sportsmens Club on Hwy 77 on June 24.

Delta County:
--A Caspian Tern was reported by Kaempfer at Confluence Park in Delta
on June 25.
--I know Chukars are not usually reported on the RBA, but some birders
might want to see them for their year list.  Kaempfer reported 3 groups of
Chukars in Escalante Canyon the first 3 miles past the Gunnison Bridge
and 2 more groups further on June 25.  There are chicks so the adults are
relucant to fly.

Douglas/Jefferson Counties:
--A pair of Eastern Phoebes was reported by Burt on June 14.  They
were seen from the pedestrian bridge (named Phoebe Bridge) across Plum
Creek.  Walbek reported juvie Eastern Phoebes at Chatfield on June 17.
 The Eastern Phoebe family continues at Phoebe Bridge at least through
June 23 as reported by Roller.
--A juv SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER was reported by Ackert at Chatfield
SP on June 28 in a field between the road that goes to Plum Creek
Bridge and the road to the south.

Grand County:
--2 BLACK VULTURES were reported by Deininger over the Colorado River
near the Hwy 11 bridge over the river which is near Radium on June 29.

Jefferson County:
--A singing male PRAIRIE WARBLER was reported by Roller in Corwina
Park near the Bear Creek drainage near Evergreen on June 30.  The
warbler was seen again on July 2 by Gent.

Larimer County:
--2 Caspian Terns first reported by Wild on June 10 were refound by
Gillilan at Kechter Pond on June 23.
--A singing Indigo Bunting was reported by Leatherman at Prospect
Ponds Natural Area near PE22 on June 27.
--A singing Field Sparrow was reported by Meyer on the NW side of the
pond behind the Nix Farm house/office in Fort Collins on July 1.

Logan County:
--At Tamarack Ranch on July 2, Mlodinow reported an EASTERN TOWHEE
south of the river; Bell's Vireo and Eastern Phoebe near the west
entrance; and 6 Northern Cardinal, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and Field
Sparrow on the east side.

Mesa County:
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Korte in the 2400 block of Mesa
Ave in Grand Junction on June 29.
--A Green Heron was reported by Arnold at Connected Lakes SP in Grand
Junction on July 1.
--A White-winged Dove was reported by Arnold along the Blue Heron
Trail in Grand Junction on July 1.

Montrose County:
--A LESSER NIGHTHAWK was reported by Keaveney at the Nucla Sewage
Lagoon on June 30.

San Juan County:
--A singing "Slate-colored" Fox Sparrow was reported by Morris at the
pull off of Upper Lime Creek Road on July 1.
--2 singing "Slate-colored" Fox Sparrows were reported by Morris at
Little Molas Lake on July 1.

Weld County:
--A YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was reported by Elens at Glenmere Park
in Greeley on June 5 and was seen again by Lefko on June 7.  On June
7, Komar reported that the YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON appears to be
attempting to nest with a Black-crowned Night-Heron.  On June 28 Lefko reported
the YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON feeding 2 young.  On July 2, Deininger
reported that the YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was still on nest.
--A Hooded Warbler was reported by Mlodinow near the Poudre River
Trail Parking Lot on June 23.

The DFO Field Trip for Thursday, July 7 will be to Genesee Park led by
Kathanne Lynch (303-968-4750).  Meet at 0800 at Genesee Exit # 254
Genesee (RTD lot on Mt Vernon/north side).   Will explore  traditional
bird stops in the park on the south side of I-70.  Wear sturdy shoes.
Will walk on gravel trails or road with elevation changes of less than
100 ft at any one site.  Bring water, sunscreen, a hat and snack.
Trip will end at about 11:30.
