Hi COBirders,

Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory banding at Chico Basin Ranch, results for 
Tuesday, 9/13/2001.

Slow start today, continued slow but steady - not the waves we saw yesterday.  
42 new banded birds today.  19 species netted.
Sounds like the reported warblers were still at HQ on the Pueblo County side - 
including the Yellow-throated and Townsend's.

(HY=Hatch year, AHY= after Hatch year, FOS= First of the Season)


Black-chinned Hummingbird (HYm) - netted but not banded

Dusky Flycatcher - 1            (15 flycatchers yesterday!)
Townsend's Solitaire - 2 HY (FOS)
Swainson's Thrush - 1
Am Robin -1
Brown Thrasher - 1  HY
Yellow Warbler - 1 AHYf
MacGillivray's Warbler - 1  HY
Wilson's Warbler - 16           (46 yesterday)
OVENBIRD - 1  HY
W Tanager  - 1  HYf
Chipping Sparrow -8
Lark Sparrow -1
Lincoln's Sparrow - 2
White-crowned Sparrow - 1   (FOS)
Black-headed Grosbeak - 1  HYm
Lazuli Bunting - 2 AHYf's
House FInch - 1   FOS
Cooper's Hawk - AHYm - beautiful bird, and very fierce!
