I was walking my dog in undeveloped land west of Silver Creek High
School in west Longmont yesterday (9/18) when six American Pipits flew
over and landed across the creek and proceeded to forage amid the
Kochia and bindweed. I'm guessing they are all this year's youngsters
because they were all a bit mottled.
