Adams County:
--A White-throated Sparrow was banded by McBurney at Barr Lake Banding
Station on October 6.

Boulder County:
--A BLUE-HEADED VIREO was reported by Nunes on the Boulder Creek Path
by East Campus on October 8.

Delta County:
--A White-throated Sparrow was reported by Robinsong at the old sewage
plant in Hotchkiss on October 9.

El Paso/Pueblo Counties: Chico Basin Ranch (fee area)
--An ad LE CONTE'S SPARROW was reported by Drummond at the wet sedge
meadow below Upper Twin Ponds on October 5.
--A juv Harris's Sparrow was reported by Drummond at HQ pond on October 5.
--A hatch year male Black-throated Blue Warbler was the last bird
banded at Chico Basin for the season on October 10 as reported by
Brown.

Gilpin County:
--A Chihuahuan Raven was reported by Wild near Rollinsville on October 6.
--An ad f PINE WARBLER was reported by Wild on Lump Gulch Road on October 6.

Logan County:
--A Northern Cardinal and 5 Field Sparrows were reported by Mlodinow
at Tamarack Ranch SWA.  The cardinal was at the pond near the
manager's place and the sparrows were in the hedgerow on the s side of
the river.

Mesa County:
--3 Least Terns were reported by Stigen at Corn Lake on October 5.
--A Green Heron was reported by Stigen at the Audubon Nature Center in
Grand Junction on October 10.

Ouray County:
--A BLUE-HEADED VIREO was reported by Dexter on the Dennis Weaver
Trail about 1 mile north of Ridgway on October 8.
--A White-throated Sparrow was reported by Dexter at Billy Creek SWA
on October 8.

Phillips County:
--On October 8 in Holyoke Linfield reported Nashville Warbler and 40
Field Sparrows.

Prowers County:
--On October 6, Moss reported Red-bellied Woodpecker and 3 Northern
Cardinals at LCCW.

Pueblo County:
--A BLUE-HEADED VIREO was reported by Percival east of Valco Ponds on October 5.
--A Nashville Warbler and SCARLET TANAGER were reported by Percival at
Valco Ponds on October 8.
--At Rock Canyon on October 8, Percival reported Black and Eastern Phoebe.
--A Nashville Warbler was reported by Percival at Valco Ponds beween
pond #1 and #2 on October 10.  2 Black Phoebes were also at Valco
Ponds.
--At Rock Canyon On October 10, Percivalreported 1 Eastern Phoebes.
--1 Black Phoebe was reported by Percival west of Pueblo Nature Center
on the north side of the Arkansas River on October 10.

Washington County:
--At Prewitt on October 2, Mlodinow reported 1 ad Lesser Black-backed
Gull.  On October 8, Mlodinow relocated the Lesser Black-backed Gull
at Prewitt.
--At Last Chance on October 5, Jones reported Harris's Sparrow and
"Tan-striped" White-throated Sparrow.

Weld County:
--A Field Sparrow and White-throated Sparrow were reported by Prather
at Crow Valley CG on October 7.
--An American Golden Plover was reported by Mlodinow at the BYO Playa
on October 9.  The BYO Playa straddle CR 75 between CR 100 and 102.
--3 White-throated Sparrows were reported by Mlodinow at Kodak SWA on October 9.
--A juv YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER was reported by Wild at Norma's Grove
on October 9.
--An "eastern" EASTERN MEADOWLARK was reported by Wild at Crow Valley
CG on October 9.
--At Crow Valley on October 10, Leatherman reported 1 "western" Field
Sparrow, 2 "tan-stripe" White-throated Sparrows (1 ad, 1 imm), and 1
Lapland Longspur.

Yuma County:
--A SPRAGUE'S PIPIT and Indigo Bunting were reported by Floyd on CR U
on October 8.
--2 Field Sparrows were reported by Floyd on CR P on October 8.

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, October 16 will be to Barr Lake State
Park led by Gregg Goodrich.  Meet the leader at the Visitor's Center
at 0800.  Bird until noon.  Bring water, appropriate clothing.  Lunch
is optional since you can return to the visitor's center and eat at
picnic table there.  State Parks Pass required.
