Doug Kibbe and I went to NECO today, March 12:

Red Lion: Adult Peregrine Falcon
               Two Tundra Swans continue

Jumbo: Great Black-backed Gull, first cycle, obligingly flew back and forth
across Logan-Sedgwick line
     Lesser Black-backed Gull 2
Hedgerow S of Jumbo along County Road 1: 1 Long-eared Owl

Little Jumbo: watch out for the 50 count flock of Ross's Goose decoys!

Prewitt Reservoir: lots of gulls as per previous reports, and not much
turnover
All activity was in or near the NW coves.
AT LEAST 8 Glaucous Gulls, all first cycle
1 Glaucous-winged Gull
1 Iceland Gull
several Lesser Black-backed Gulls, including one 2nd cycle with a thick,
bulbous black bill

Pond at Washington County road R: zero Greater White-fronted Geese in the
morning,
then a few hundred around 2 PM.
No Ground Doves heard, alas.

Tomorrow: who knows?
