Shortly before noon I observed a Tricolored Heron at the "wildlife
preserve" area of Crown Hill Regional Park. Water has dropped
significantly. The Tricolored was feeding with a Snowy Egret and Great
Blue Heron, while a Black-crowned Night Heron watched nearby. Otherwise
mostly Mallards but on the large lake 3 adult Wood Ducks, one with a half
grown brood of 7.
