Yesterday evening my husband saw a black-chinned hummingbird on our feeder. I
was grateful to see it feeding on our still plentiful flowers this morning. The
hummer appeared to have plenty of fat stored on its little body which I am
happy about considering it's so late.

This is a great reminder to your keep your feeders up for the stragglers. They
need all help they can get for their long travels over a drought torn land.

Great hummy birding!
