Yesterday late afternoon, had a Broad-tailed Hummer at the feeder while
hearing an elk bugle somewhere out

To the south.    I did not expect those two occurrences on the same day!

 

Juncos and white-crowned sparrows have replaced chipping sparrows and house
wrens at my place.
