A cluster of 11 Rusty Blackbirds were squeaking like rusty gates and
occasionally
singing their signature "vitamin E" song.
This was at the small innominate park at the end of Elm Street, with is
reached by taking Elm
Drive north from northwest bound Hway 144 at the east end of Log Lane
Village. Continue on Elm
Drive down a narrow, rutted dirt, public, two track. It becomes Elm Street
when it bends to the right
and ends in a small, rutted parking lot. Do not park in front of the Do not
park sign. The birds
were in trees between the lot and the little wooden bridge across the
a canal at about 11 AM
this morning, February 12.
