Had about 4 nice hours this morning - sunny, no wind - before the heat set
in and we began closing about 10:45. Banded 21 new and caught 4 Yellows
banded in prior seasons. The star of the morning was a Yellow-billed
Cuckoo. Here's the breakdown:

Yellow-billed Cuckoo 1

Least Flycatcher 2

Gray Catbird 3

Yellow Warbler 7 new, 4 returns (2 banded in 2012, 1 in 2011, and 1 in 2007)

MacGillivray's Warbler 2

Yellow-breasted Chat 2

Lincoln's Sparrow 1

Lazuli Bunting 1

Red-winged Blackbird 1

American Goldfinch 1

Open daily, weather permitting, through June 2. (Usually have our first
birds back at the banding station by 7:30, will likely start closing between
10:30-11 because of the heat.)
