This evening Maya, Michelle and I heard a Red-eyed Vireo singing in our
neighbor’s cottonwood, the second consecutive year we had one. Around the
neighborhood there were also some Cedar Waxwings and a Willow or Alder
Flycatcher, it didn't vocalize so I couldn't ID it. I also had an Indigo
Bunting at Lee Martinez Park about a half mile west form the park and the
Poudre bike trail intersection.

Earlier in the week I was playing racquetball with Greg Levandoski and we
spotted a Broad-tailed Humming bird nest. This Humming bird had no fear
escorted a squirrel away from its nest by constantly hovering and dive
bombing it.
