Hi all, I stopped by the southeastern corner of Pueblo Reservoir, Pueblo County today (5 June), where there were some shorebirds. One Pectoral Sandpiper, four White-rumped Sandpipers, two American Avocets, and Spotted Sandpipers. Yesterday (4 June), in the same location, I saw one Semipalmated and one White-rumped Sandpiper, as well as a few Franklin's Gulls. At Sailboard launching area at Pueblo Reservoir yesterday, there were a few American White Pelicans and White-faced Ibis. At the Reservoir in the past couple of days, there were some non-breeding California and Ring-billed Gulls, which I'm sure will be around all summer.
In the Osprey Picnic Area, in Rock Canyon, today (5 June), I saw and heard a singing Least Flycatcher, also Western Tanagers and a Yellow-rumped Warbler. Good birding, Brandon Percival Pueblo West, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
