Hi COBirders,

A rare Sunday banding session today following two rain-out days this week. We
thought we might see another fallout, but it didn't materialize. We did have a
lot of birds early, but there was no midmorning arrival, like we saw all week.
Full report to follow.

About 50 new birds today, mostly warblers again, with several Wilson's,
Orange-crowned, Yellow, and MacGillivray's banded. Still nothing really unusual
sighted, but the numbers have been unbelievable compared to previous seasons. I
think we have now processed about 850 birds in 8 days of banding. One of our
new volunteers remarked how slow it seemed today. All she had seen so far had
been days with over 100! (That is NOT normal!)

Happy Migration,
