I found a WOOD THRUSH in Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City today. I got
photos showing it's white eyering, white (not buffy) underparts with black
spots extending well down the flanks and short tail. I believe this is a
record for Fremont County. I have uploaded the photos onto my Birds and
Nature blog <http://birdsandnature.blogspot.com/>.

Other birds were sparse in the cemetery--5 Audubon's Yellow-rumped
Warblers, 6 Western Bluebirds, a few each Chipping Sparrows, Black-capped
Chickadees and Northern Flickers (no Yellow-bellied or other sapsuckers).

I spotted a Black Phoebe at the Florence River Park yesterday but was on my
way to a meeting so didn't walk into the back area. A few days ago I saw
4-5 first-of-the season Mountain Chickadees there and had one at home on
Oct 1.
