My wife and I spent the afternoon out in Calhan, Colorado. For three hours we got to witness an absolutelly amazing sight. Wave after wave after wave of Sandhill Cranes were flying over. Awesome!
On our way home, we went through Ellicott, CO. A nice little pond just west of town had a good variety of ducks. Just past the first bridge west of Ellicott, I spotted a Wilson's Snipe. Got some really good looks at this one.
